We're still in a learning curve in regards to our "new" house and how to "run" it. But I'm trying!
Summer is now officially here, and I've learned how to keep the place cool for as long as possible during the day, bought a crock pot so I don't have to start cooking at the hottest time of the day, realized gardening must be done before 11:00 am and think I finally have enough stuff that we have room for from the Home Depot garden department. Plants from the local Color Spot nursery company that supplies Home Depot seem to do better than plants from a "real" nursery not too far from us.
Meanwhile, the traveling family member is wrapping up his sojourn soon, but is spending his birthday today at the Vienna Opera House with The Magic Flute! Happy Birthday John!
