more beauties on the shelves
I've always loved this Polish doll the best -- I've had her more than 45 years! Although her poor nose has had a bash for a quite a while, her braided hair is still silken.
I bought this doll in Russia in the late 1990's, but I'm not sure it is a Russian costume
As I was always so disappointed about my Polish doll's "nose chip", I resisted collecting porcelain figurines while in Russia -- although many of my friends had huge lovely collections. I couldn't resist this Lomonsov bathing beauty named Aqua-Belle though -- I keep her on my dresser.
coming soon: Toy Story IV, with photos of dolls I inherited from my late mother-in-law!
