for today, anyway! Off to the dentist and back down to the Sacramento house tomorrow.
But it is amazing how after having had such a whirlwind schedule that the day can pass and you aren't quite aware of what you really did. I'm "behind" on reading my Bloglines lists, Ravelry, e-mails and more but just don't feel like sitting in front of the computer all day either!
This morning, though, I'm checking in with a few blogs -- here are a couple: Moonstitches and Mustaa villaa (socks to die for) and Bea's great blog!
The trees continue to provide us with glorious yellows
the moebius is coming along but I can't wait for it to be done -- I hate moss stitch.
I'll work on it in the car tomorrow as I will have plenty of sitting time. Today I'm going to start a pair of socks from the Through the Loops Design Socktoberfest Mysterysock KAL on Kirsten's website and on Ravelry.
But for a "be still my heart" different mitten pattern: take a look here.

If you hate moss stitch may I ask, why are you doing it?
Your moebius will be wonderful! I've been thinking of doing one for some time - it seems like it would be a great way to use up yarn - the stripes would swirl.
I'v been thinking about you. Do send a note when you have some time in Sacramento and we'll meet for coffee.
