Cool nights and knitting wish lists

Evenings are cool up here, but you don't want the heat on full blast when you sleep. So your shoulders can feel cold.

I spent the night thinking about this:

with this, I wouldn't have to sleep with a shawl to keep drafts off my shoulder.

And considering my stash is somewhere who knows where in the world, I ordered the Drops Alpaca from Nordic Mart which seemed to have the biggest color selection.

PS later: just found this on Whip Up -- lots of ideas for slippers !

I also spent a little time looking at quick knit slippers (these and these and these ) -- my feet were so cold last night so I had to fish around looking for socks. I actually found some yarn up here but my needles are in the mail -- to arrive tomorrow.
