I love your blog award

In some circles I'm known as "Goldilocks." Nothing is ever quite "perfect" for me LOL -- too hot, too cold, but now it's

"not busy enough" (hah)

... after months of whining about how busy we've been. We don't have much time left here, and then we'll be plenty busy for a few weeks "checking out."

So a dear internet friend Fluffbuff gave me the I love your blog award today

-- so I have something to do this morning! Too funny. But thanks!!
And of course these things need to be passed on:

so, I pass the ribbon to:
med pinner who keeps most of Ravelry (just to start with) inspired by her (mittens) projects, generosity and good humor
be*mused - another mitten kindred spirit who also has given me hope that one can survive another major move and also made me almost faint with envy when I saw photos of her new back garden
mustaa villa who is one of my favorite Nordic (Finnish) knitting bloggers with fabulous projects
Knitting Letters: A to Z was recently recommended to me by another internet friend -- grab a cup of coffee/tea and read about textiles and knitting from many parts of the world
and back to Fluffbuff's other blog Tanta Robina which chronicles her year in Culinary School with food photos to die for. Warning, do not look at this blog if you are hungry

and what would life be like without rules, even in Blogland:
1. Post this award on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Nominate at least 4 other bloggers, and add their links as well.
4. Leave a comment at the new recipients' blogs, so they can pass it on.

P.S.
What have I been doing? (other than awarding Knitting Letters the award she just got from Fluffbuff)

not that much -- PT, reading some mindless stuff, and following the start of
Mystery Stole 4. I decided not to start the stole as I am not sure I have enough beads. I've also never knitted with the yarn I "saved out" for the project - Misti Alpaca.

So yesterday I cast on and started a project from my Ravelry queue of queues:
the Juno Regina stole.

(photo from Knitty.com site)

The Misti Alpaca is very soft and working up nicely on KnitPicks Harmony 3.25 needles.

That makes 3 shawls I have on the needles .... hmm, enough to give me something to do, right? I was also listening to Anne of Green Gables on an iTunes podcast -- a fun/light listen. My kids loved the PBS series when it came out in the late 80s... the set of which now sells for $80 or so on Amazon.... ouch!

And now ... floor exercises for the day. Too bad I don't have the convention coverage anymore to keep me going! LOL So it will have to be CNN or Euronews ...

Thanks for the award :)

I liked the shawl, I too. I am thinking about Wollmeise yarn actually ... we'll see who will decide and do it first :D
