Late summer

Looks like we'll be moving late late summer -- yay for some final news on this.

So ... I'm just looking at my desk and thinking: I have to get rid of most of this stuff!

In the meantime, I will finish up my mitten, and work on some other WIPs and think about travel projects (always fun).

TIF will take the final hit, I'm afraid. But I'll still check in on Sharon's site every month!

And today I found some bamboo Addi Turbos -- who knew? I must have been hibernating on another planet, not knowing about these. There was only one set in one size, but I bought it anyway!

Hi!
I found you through the new stitchin fingers site. My name is Susan Lenz. I'm a fellow fiber enthusiast living and stitching in Columbia, South Carolina. I'm mounting an exhibition at Gallery 80808/Vista Studios here in my city. It is scheduled for January 8 - 20, 2009 and will include traded fiber postcards and ATCs. I've developed a "site"...with is actually a series of inter-connected blogs with an entry point at http://cyberfyberexhibition.blogspot.com.

So far, I've traded with fiber artists in 26 countries and 38 states in the USA....but....no one from Kazakhstan. (I do know where you are! My elder son is a ballet dancer who has competed...and won medals...on the international level. Kazakhstan has many top level ballet dancers...including the senior male gold winner in the 2006 Varna, Bulgaria competition...in which my son was the gold medalist in the junior division.)

Anyway, I would love to trade with you. Sure, I read that you are moving...but, if you select a card, I'm sure we can trade before you do! Please consider this. If you have any questions at all, please just write! Thanks so very, very much!
Susan

Hi!
Me again. Please know, I am not completely stupid...I'm aware that your stitchin fingers site says your from the USA. I'm aware that an "avatar" is virtual...but your blogger location is still Astana...so I'm just hoping that you are actually in Kazakhstan for a temporary time. I got interrupted (I'm at work...I own the place...but, I'm suppose to be working!) before I could complete my last message. Even if you're only wishing to be in Asia, I'd be happy to trade with you at CYBER FYBER. Here' to hoping you are in Delaware, DC, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, North or South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming....I'm looking for participants from these states. Even if you aren't from any of these locations, let's trade!
