It's almost time to leave here after 4 weeks of vacation, Christmas, kids, a cat and three water issues due to the cold. Washington will be next for a week of consultations and running around seeing people. And ... then back to Kz, where it seems they have been working on the house punch list daily.
Here are a couple of e houses we see going down the lake road to take trash to the dumpster.
We've had some snow, lots and lots of cold, and multiple visits and consults with Mike, our local resident plumber. Thank goodness for him.
The "landmark" Lodge ... wonder if it will survive the overhaul planned for the next 3-4 years by the new comapny that owns the ski area?
John has been skiing, I've been knitting and reading, and using the DSL internet non-stop to download podcasts and more. All in all, a great breather!
Knitting has been great -- mulitple stops the whole time to EwePhoric Yarns in Arnold and Knit Knacks in Murphys. Even got Julia the "black sheep" measuring tape to match the other one.
