What a great title ... can't wait to find out what it really means.
I've had the book about a year -- it's now out in paperback. But decided I'd better re-read Forster's Howard's End first as the books seem to be related in style/narrative. The New Yorker had a recent article about Leonard Woolf, and it seems that Forster was one of his "set", and Howard's End took quite a long time to write. Great book! But could it be written today?
